Welcome to KAD Movers! By engaging our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms are designed to ensure clarity and a seamless moving experience for all parties involved.
1. Booking Confirmation
1.1 All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or signed agreement.
1.2 Changes to the booking, including date, time, or scope, must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.
2. Pricing and Payment
2.1 All quotes provided are estimates based on the information supplied by the customer. Additional charges may apply for extra services or unforeseen circumstances during the move.
2.2 Payment must be completed upon delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3 Accepted payment methods include cash, credit card, or bank transfer.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled move are eligible for a full refund of the deposit.
3.2 Cancellations within 48 hours of the move may incur a cancellation fee.
4. Liability and Insurance
4.1 KAD Movers provides public liability and goods transit insurance for all moves.
4.2 While every precaution is taken, KAD Movers is not liable for damage to items not packed by our team or for items improperly packed by the customer.
4.3 Claims for damaged or lost items must be reported within 24 hours of the move’s completion.
5. Customer Obligations
5.1 The customer must ensure that all items are prepared and ready for transport at the agreed time.
5.2 The customer is responsible for securing parking permits or access to loading zones at both pickup and delivery locations.
5.3 Fragile or high-value items must be disclosed in advance for appropriate handling.
6. Access and Safety
6.1 The customer must provide clear access to all areas for loading and unloading.
6.2 KAD Movers reserves the right to refuse to move items that pose a safety risk to the team or property.
7. Additional Charges
7.1 Extra charges may apply for:
- Heavy or oversized items requiring specialized equipment.
- Difficult access, such as narrow staircases or no elevator.
- Delays caused by customer inaccessibility or unpreparedness.
7.2 These charges will be communicated before the move continues.
8. Limitations of Service
8.1 KAD Movers does not transport hazardous materials, illegal items, or perishable goods.
8.2 Services are limited to the agreed scope outlined in the booking confirmation.
9. Force Majeure
9.1 KAD Movers is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including weather conditions, road closures, or accidents.
10. Dispute Resolution
10.1 Any disputes or claims must be submitted in writing and will be addressed within 14 business days.
10.2 Both parties agree to resolve disputes amicably before seeking legal action.
